Ben Johnson is a 6’3 junior student-athlete at Basehor-Linwood High School. He is involved in many activities such as football, basketball, and track. “My favorite sport to play is football because I love the challenge and the natural high it gives me,” Johnson said. Ben plays tight end and defensive end for the Bobcat football team. He was third on the team with 12 touchdowns and second in receiving yards with 86.7 yards per game. My favorite memory in football was beating Mill Valley and seeing my buddy Drew Potter give some kid a flying knee.”
Ben is also a high jumper, discus, and shot thrower for the track team. He is the best high jumper at the school and one of the best throwers. He qualified for state last year for high jump but got beat out and didn’t place. “After high school I’m looking to participate in college athletics” said Johnson.
