The Basehor car show that takes place every year was changed from Saturday, the 28th to Sunday, the 29th due to the heavy amounts of rain on Saturday. The car show is produced by Project Grad.

Project Grad, a program ran through BLHS, is an organization run by parents and students. It provides an opportunity to raise money for an after-graduation activity that discourages students from partaking in illegal activity such as drinking or doing drugs.

The turnout on Sunday was impressive. Students in Project Grad collected funding through concessions, raffle prizes and a 50/50 pot. Additionally, local food vendors attended, selling foods like cotton candy, kettle corn, and other items.

The main event was, of course, the cars. Community members and people from surrounding areas showed up to display their vehicles, new and old.

Although the total is not yet counted, Project Grad brought in nearly $1300 just from the raffle and 50/50 pot.

Great job, seniors! Also a big thanks to anyone else who contributed.
