A small informational card details the "Power and Control Wheel". The card is intended to show students how to recognize dangerous situations.

The safety of students at Basehor-Linwood High School is a priority for its occupants. Seniors Rachel Hiss and Sophie Seaton both contributed to organizing a preview for the self defense class known as RAGE. RAGE is a female oriented class dedicated to teaching young women how to defend themselves in a volatile situation. Over thirty female students attended the meeting. In charge of the meeting, Officer Jeff Adams. informed students of the dangers in college life and at home. Adams previewed students the mission of his classes and some self defense tactics they might be able to learn if they enroll.
