Girl Code: Second Edition

Today we’re talking about love… and war.

Let’s go back to the 1800’s when the two were associated. “All’s fair in love and war,” said John Lyly.

Wait, so what does this mean?

Basically, the way I see it, you have the right to fight for what you love. Additionally, the rules of hard play are acceptable in “war” or any type of conflict.

In my opinion, it’s okay to be a little deceitful to get something (or someone).

When it comes to your heart, everything is a war. Girls are either independent, trying to maintain a relationship or getting over one.

Who is to say what is fair, really?

The way I see it, if you find someone who makes your world spark, let nothing stand in your way.

Do everything in your power to see that you don’t miss an opportunity for yourself. It was once said, “You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back.”

HOWEVER, try to remember who or what you’re fighting for. Don’t lose yourself chasing something or someone who isn’t worthy of your time.

Other than that, keep in mind – life isn’t fair, why should love and war be?
