Feb. 4th the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles will go head to head in this year’s NFL Super Bowl at the U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Both the Patriots and the Eagles have a record of 13-3, while the Eagles have met the same record as the Patriots, the Patriots are said to have side help from the referees.

“Some people say we have the refs on the side, but they’re just mad that their team doesn’t win every single year in and year out,” junior Kobe Sifford said.

Sifford believes that his team (New England Patriots) has the advantage of their quarterbacks, while sophomores Ethan Wilkinson and TJ Parker believe that the Eagles have the advantage of their defense.

“Well the Eagles have a trash quarterback that got cut from the Kansas City Chiefs and we have Tom Brady,” Sifford said.

“Defense, defense, defense,” Wilkinson said.

“Yeah, their defense is unstoppable,” Parker said.

Brady’s wife Gisele has mentioned that she wants for him to retire. Sifford and Parker believe that Tom Brady should and will retire, Wilkinson feels that he will not.

“They’re getting Jimmy Garoppolo back so they’ll be back in the Super Bowl next year, and Tom Brady should retire because he has the most rings from a player ever”, Sifford said.

Parker recaps on a play that he believes was incorrectly called on the Jacksonville Jaguars during their game against the Patriots earlier this week.

“I call that fumble that the Jags had, they should’ve ran for a touchdown and then called a review. Not review it first”, Parker said.

Sifford doesn’t believe that Parker and and Wilkinson are true Eagles fans.

“I’m sure these guys aren’t true Eagles fans and they root for a team that’s going against them”, Sifford said.

“Everybody hates the Patriots”, Parker said.

Tune in to the Super Bowl next weekend to see who the better team truly is.
