Cross Country Regionals 2018
October 22, 2018
Oct. 20, the cross country team competed at St. Mary’s University for regionals. Neither qualified for state as a team, but three girls qualified as individuals. Freshman Rylee Jones, senior Mallory Gallet and junior Quincy May qualified for state as individuals. Girls varsity got fourth as a team, and boys placed sixth overall.
Without the girls qualifying to State as a team, Jones is looking for an individual best. “My goal for State is just to run my hardest, since we don’t have enough to have a team score. I’m mainly looking at getting the school record,” said Jones.
Cross country state will be held at KU Rim R
ock Farms on Oct. 27. The three qualifiers will run at 11:45 am.
