Easy Ways to participate in Autism Awareness Week

Monday: Mindful Monday

  • Wear a different color shirt, pants, socks shoes (like the rainbow)
  • Tie-dye T-Shirt
  • Shirt with lots of colors on it
  • Rainbow headband/different colored socks


Tuesday: Light it up Blue

  • Monochromatic, with blue (or you could wear a different shade of blue it every article of clothing)
  • Blue T-Shirt
  • Blue socks/shoes


Wednesday: Be Comfy with Autism

  • Your favorite (school appropriate pajamas)
  • Lazy day! (sweats and a sweatshirt)
  • Slippers or a robe


Thursday: What’s Your Passion?

  • Your favorite sports jersey
  • An outfit that resembles your favorite character from a book or movie
  • Anything that reminds you of something you’re passionate about (could be a club, activity, hobby, sport, etc.)


Friday: Celebrate our Differences

  • Wear your Autism Awareness bracelet or bracelets
    • These can be purchased Monday-Friday during lunch
